For millions of people a shortage of clean drinking water is a reality they must face every day. In some cases they simply do not have enough water whereas in others, the water that is available is in some way contaminated and unsafe to drink.
Impoverished populations are the most severely affected by this problem; they simply can't afford to buy safe drinking water.
We at Cristal Water aims to aid and better this situation for many people, both here in South Africa, and in the neighbouring countries.
Cristal Water is a BEE company based in the South African province of Mpumalanga, which specialises in bottling pure mineral spring water at their water bottling plant in Hazyview. All water and ice supplied by Cristal Water has met stringent standards and is monitored very closely by experts from the Envrotec Environmental Specialists team.
The bottled mineral water plant is continuously monitored by the managing owner, Mr Timmy Mabuza to ensure the consistency of the high quality bottled mineral water products as well as the overall hygiene of the product, which also ensures that the motto – “Purify Your Body with Purified Water” – is upheld. Timmy also helped in the completion of the Environmental Assessment of the bottling factory in Hazyview, through Envrotec's environmental impact assesment team
Cristal Water has at this stage seven full time senior management staff distributed in four departments i.e. Financials, Marketing, Logistics and General Management. Our staff members have over 20 years experience in water bottling and the company as a whole provides full time and temporary employment opportunities to people from many disadvantage communities as a community outreach program.
